Hump Day

Killing Time

Charles’ consciousness is drifting. His cold palms are rubbing onto each other in hopes of getting warm. He is thinking of how it will be for them. He is worried that he might again be rejected by another street hipster. Now he’s looking on his slippers to find some reassurance. He’s running onto this, getting away from that. He is never looking back.
